Welcome
These Terms explain the basic rules for using tack, including the website, Chrome extension, browser app, accounts, and paid plans. By using tack, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
What tack Does
tack helps you choose visual references from pages your browser can already view, analyze their visual style, and generate new images from your prompt. tack does not bypass paywalls, logins, privacy settings, or technical restrictions set by other websites.
Your Content
You keep whatever rights you have in the images, prompts, pages, boards, and other content you provide to tack. You give tack permission to process, transmit, store, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, improve, protect, and support the service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights, permissions, and authority needed to submit content to tack and use any results. Please do not submit private, confidential, sensitive, illegal, or restricted content unless you are allowed to do so.
Generated Images
tack does not claim ownership of your generated images. Subject to applicable law and third-party model terms, you may use your generated images for personal or commercial projects. AI outputs can be similar to other outputs and may not be unique, so you are responsible for reviewing results before publishing or using them commercially.
Respectful Use
Please use tack thoughtfully. You agree not to use tack to violate the law, infringe someone else's rights, impersonate people, create deceptive or harmful content, abuse the service, interfere with security, reverse engineer the product, or process content you are not allowed to use.
Accounts & Plans
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in information secure. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal; cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly offered by tack.
Copyright Concerns
If you believe content available through tack infringes your rights, email hello@tack.design with enough detail for us to review it. We may remove content, limit access, or close accounts when appropriate.
Service Changes
We may update, pause, remove, or limit parts of tack as the product evolves. We try to keep the service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and may not always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, tack is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to tack will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may give notice through the website, product, or email where appropriate. Continued use of tack after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
